A brilliant 20watt monster valve amp
I have a lot of amps , Marshall and Fender, lately I’ve been using my Fender blues junior but it just doesn’t have enough rock to it and I’m not a pedal fan, until I bought the Tweed 20 , there’s just no comparison, uses the same valve set up as the fender but has 2 separate channels and a definite drive gain like a true rock and roll amp should have, making this amp quite loud but still with a great sound , and the clean channel is also very warm , which has surprised me . The reverb is not spring but I only found out about this because I read it and it’s a brilliant sounding reverb. Price is another bonus for this amp. I’m certainly glad I took the chance and bought one , thanks Artist, this amp rocks . Awesome Valve Amp
I love this Amp. At $499 It is pound for pound (and Dollar for Dollar) the Best value Valve amp around. it has separate Clean and Drive channels that You can toggle(noiselessly)between using an optional footswitch (I already had one) And both are Great The Clean is sparkly Clean and the Drive has some real Grunt. I have tested it with My Jimmy Vaughan Fender Strat(Single Coils), My PRS SE277 SemiHollow Baritone Guitar(P90s) and My Artist LP59 (Humbuckers)and all the Guitars really Shine through this Amp. My other Amps are a VoxAC15HW(Alnico Blue) and Vox AD60 VTX and this Little Champ is right up there with them at a fraction of the priceI love this Amp. OVER ALL GOOD AMP
I bought this amp early this year and since having it it hasn't let me down. It sound superb and is loud and clear for a 20 watt all valve amp. The spring reverb on this amp, has a slight ambiance resonance sound, which I like and have not found in any other amp I have had, with spring reverb effect It is very well made and the tweed look on the amp frame, as well as the tweed grill, makes it stand out and a cut above many amps I reckon. The amp is light in weight, as well, which makes it easy to carry by hand. I had an Engl amp before this amp for approximately 6 years, and yes they are a very good amp too, but the weight was to heavy for me to continue carrying it around and sick of using a trolley, to cart it around also.
