Clive Small and Tom Gilling is giving us a very frightening and detailed story about the Calabrian Mafia in Australia. Very, very detailed in its approach. Maybe this is necessary, but somehow confusing for me as well. All my life, I am 86, I was interested in political and social affairs, which means, reading about it. I always tried to get the information from as many sources as possible, to come to my own conclusion. In this case, is there any? I do not think so. I must read "Evil Life" more than once to fully understand all the problems explained in the book, what it actually means to me and to our country Australia. After the first reading, I got more frightened of the impact the Calabrian Mafia has on our country, than the Islamic State. Will I change my mind reading it a second time? I do not know. It is one of the books you read and keep it, if you are interested in political and social affairs. In my bookshelf it stands now next to Selwyn Raab "Five Families".Read full review
