I'm becoming more and more fond of vintage styled watches, especially from the 60s and 70s, and the Lobster UHF doesn't disappoint. It has some of the legendary attributes of the old Accutron movement, only now it's better because of the 262 kHz frequency. I greatly appreciate the smoothness of the sweep of the second hand. It bests even the most refined automatic movements, and is reminiscent of the old Accutron movements of days gone by. When it comes to accuracy, it's hard to compete with a movement with that high a frequency, especially for the price. The only downside to the new Precisionist movement used in these new Bulova watches, is the limited battery life. Batteries average about a year of good timekeeping in this movement, but the CR2016 won't exactly break the bank to replace. Access to the battery is relatively simple with a two prong case tool. Water resistance to this model is rated 100M, so it's good to go for anything but scuba diving. It has a mineral glass crystal, no sapphire, but this I presume was to keep the watch at a reasonable price. Besides, this watch is not meant for wearing to the machine shop or paving squad. The mesh bracelet is comfortable and durable, but I prefer the look of a solid linked bracelet, and changed mine to a generic President style bracelet accordingly. The blue dial on the Lobster UHF has a beautiful starburst shimmer to it, and the orange markers are crisp and neatly applied. I expect to get good service out of this watch, my first Bulova in many years. And I look forward to getting more watches with the new Precisionist movement.Read full review

Don't plan on keeping band. It's chromed over Chinese produced links. Does not do watch justice. Spend your money on Legit stainless links band or NATO marine strap looks great too!

The blue dial is intensely beautiful, and the domed crystal sets it off perfectly. Materials and finishing are both very nice. Tip to tip the watch is large, but despite it's case size, the bracelet wears comfortably. For wrists under 7 inches it may be too large. It is striking with a cool retro vibe. Lastly, the movement is silky smooth and extremely accurate.

Very good looking watch especially the mesmerising sweeping hand. The second hand runs smoother than my Automatic watches.

Amazing quality and value. I wear it more than my GMT Master. I use it to set all my other watches!
