I was born in 1946 in Western North Carolina into a family whose life was filled with love, charity and compassion. They loved thing more than to tell stories about themselves or other family members and to bust a gut laughing at it. Except for the health and welfare of others, they never took anything seriously. To them life was a journey filled with ups and downs, ins and outs, that each must take. I learned at an early age to live life with a grain of salt and to be able to laugh at myself.
