Author Biography
K.C. Turner grew up in the small coastal town of Sandusky, Ohio, which was the inspiration for the backdrop of her novel, Strong Motive. Always wanting to be a writer, she attended Bowling Green State University majoring in Creative Writing. Unfortunately, after many people advised she would be nothing more than a starving artist for the rest of her life, she dropped out. She later returned to school and after ten long years in the legal field she decided to give freelance writing a go. Her resume consisted of writing web content for private clients and a weekly column with the local newspaper. Though freelancing was fun, it was short lived. She decided it was time to expand upon the characters she created (while writing legal briefs for the county prosecutor) and pursue her dream of writing what she fancied most. Turner is currently working on her second book in the Elizabeth Strong Series. She still resides near Lake Erie with her supportive husband, their two boys, and the most gentle American Pit Bull Terrier you will ever meet.
