Try on several laptops with 4th & 5th gen Intel i5/i7 laptops, not working on Intel WiDi v5 and v6 Finally find a laptop with 3rd gen i7, install the latest Intel graphic driver (win64_152824) & Intel ProSet/Wirelss Wifi Connection Utility v18.33.0. Then being able to connect to the Belkin ScreenCast box and saying there is a firmware update available. After updating the firmware, the box works with all the laptops now. I do spend time on fixing this. Hope my experience could be helpful for your setup.

After wasting over a day trying to get this thing working, I can report it is yet another example of incompatibility between this (receiver Hardware) Computer BIOS, WiFi manufacture, Graphics Manufacture, Wifi Driver, Graphics Driver, System Operating system. Seems everyone has dropped the ball after Windows 7 and with all the headlong rush to push everyone onto Windows 10 things no longer work. Don't believe everything they say about everything working just the same after upgrading. If you had WiDi on Windows 7 or 8 you won't if you upgrade. AVOID!!!!
