I needed a worth while phone with a lot of the features that all the $500 and upward phones had. This one definatley fits that description. This has all the features I'll ever need and all the other features the more expensive phones have... I would probably never use. Good GPS and awesome camera. It is fast and runs a smoother then a lot of other (more expensive) smart phones I have come across. Very easy to use once you've had a little play. The only fault I can give it is the battery life. This can be forgiven though, with all the things it's doing and with its limited physical size you gotta expect these things. I did a fair bit of hunting for a "best bang for buck" phone and this is what I came up with. I have recommended this phone to others, whom now love their new Lumia 610 and I would definatly buy this phone again.Read full review
Good basic phone, yet still has enough smart phone features which work well, web browsing, email, camera etc. Not fastest phone in the world, but works very well as a phone, with added bonus of good email and web browsing and limited apps.
I have had many nokias in my phone lifetime. I find they are always reliable and user friendly. I upgraded to a HTC One and could not get reception in my own home(where previously I had with a nokia) Switched to the nokia lumia and I am very happy, reception is always good with these phones. The home screen makes it easy to reach the functions you want. The battery life is much better than most smart phones, mine will last about 3 days before needing a re-charge.
Selected the 610 as an upgrade for wife from C5 as she had constant drop-out problems at home. Blue tick certification was major point and has proven to be better than the C5. Major, unrealised issue was the change to windows based phone, rant and rave at the time, but now, a couple of months later, all seems ok. Battery life is probably better than expected and for an entry level 'smart' phone it seems good value. Our was a locked phone, unlocked prior to sending to us - some issues there and I missed that we could not simply change the sim cards over as the 610 uses micro-sim and the C5 used standard sim, more stuffing around at start.
Pros: Responsive touch screen battery life is not stingy the glass screen feels sturdy Cons: No transfers through bluetooth Customization is not great. eg message tone, themes. Software/apps limited (as with all windows phones)
