My years as a Marine, paramedic, father of four and husband to just as many, have taught me quite a few things. I think one of the most important is to try and keep your sense of humor! I have found that the folks I work with in EMS can laugh at just about anything! As can most of the people in our society that try to make a difference. Many times if you don't laugh you'll find yourself crying. While some of my material is serious, I hope my respect for all those folks who try and make a difference comes through. I love my country, my family and what I do more than I will ever be able to write, while I try to find a laugh in as many of life's situations as I can, especially my own! Be careful out there and remember, try t to do anything you don't want to explain to the paramedics! Semper Fi Lefty
