Combine Handycam design sensibilities with state of the art hard drive capture and you get the Handycam DCR-SR42. The built-in, 30 GB hard drive allows you to record up to 20 hours of gorgeous high resolution video without ever having to stop to change tapes. HDD Smart Protection prevents your hard drive from physical damage by switching the drive off if the camcorder is dropped. The Handycam DCR-SR42 comes supplied with the Handycam Station, an easy to setup cradle that charges your camcorder while you stream videos to your television or capture to your PC. PC backup options and one touch disc burn mean you can protect your captured memories with ease and efficiency.
