Loved the whole story as it related to the way backyard cricket used to be played. The rules of the backyard game was so true to what used to happen. We initially saw it on Australia Day and it was so fitting. The Aussie dislike to a "Pommy" was especially true to life and the way everybody ended up as friends was soooo Aussie.

VERY Australian (not unlike "The Castle") and entertaining overall with a good smattering of humorous moment plus the one classic comedy scene where the group accidentally incinerates next door's cat! Australians would like the film - overseas people might be puzzled at out 'unique' backyard/competitive 'culture.' The key characters are probably what holds the whole thing together throughout the narrative (which is very basic - although it is loaded with items that people who consider Political Correctness important in their pathetic lives would jump up and down about).
