I read this book and was not happy with the way the author cast everyone of my golfing idols in a negative manner. I have always been a firm believer in something my mother would always say and that was: "If you cannot say something good about people, don't say anything at all." Maybe I live in a dream world but the guys that I grew up admiring cannot all have bad traits and I know we are all human and make mistakes but to almost vilify all these great golfers does not do them justice; certainly not the way I want to remember them. I am 73 years old and would consider myself a blue collar golfer but I have always loved the game. I read the book with great expectations but felt deflated after it was over. I prefer to remember them as I saw as I saw them watching their games. Thank you Arnold, Jack, Ken, Fred, Lee, my memories are the best. I prefer the Jim Nantz method, no sarcasm, the bright side of the world. I had mixed emotions about recommending this book but I guess we need to see both sides of the page of life.Read full review
