I really love reading about Tudor history. This book is greatly written about the key people in that important time frame. Mostly focuses on Jane's power hungry parents, and Jane's struggling upbringing. The only thing I don't like is the jumping around fr/person to person. If she didn't label who's thoughts we were reading I would have been lost. We should be very glad not to live in those times because it is very clear that girls were the pawns of their families. In this case "a sacrificial lamb".

A combination of a few stories I like that follows my favorite Movie as a teen ager Lady Jane. The time line is great and interesting to follow. I like how this story goes and shows exactly what Jane went through not embeleshed by the movies although...I still love the romantic story...Lady Jane is still me favorite movie.
Wow, this is such a good book!!! It captures the feelings and the goings on of England during this time period. I actually cried and cried when the book ended. This is a historic novel so I knew how it ended all along, but I had no idea I would feel this emotional about it. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in reading about the Tutor reign in England.
