Author Biography
A native Kansan, Reaona Hemmingway grew up in the eastern and central parts of the state. She attended Wichita State University where she graduated with a BS in mathematics and a creative writing minor. Reaona also completed an MBA, with distinction, from Washburn University. She works in accounting but likes to spend her free time writing, knitting, and walking with Sabrina, her yellow Labrador retriever. Growing up she was often asked if she is related to Ernest Hemingway. It was not until the mid-eighties when she learned that, yes, Ernest was an eleventh cousin twice removed. Genealogy aside, her writing style is very different. Reaona currently resides in Topeka, Kansas where she is a member of the Kansas Authors Club.
