Purchased this useless piece of junk and have had nothing but constant problems with the internet dropping out. No online support and Telstra does not offer tech support for this poor excuse of a modem/router. Dual 4G/5G is just a gimmick. When it switches to 5G you are lucky to get any Mpbs. Finally after several tech visits to my home I have upgraded to the Telstra Gen 2 for same price and have not had any issues since. Don't waste your money on empty promises

My previous 2.4gz Wi-Fi network was reaching max of 6mbps at the longest distance in the house from the modem. Now the same spot goes up to 20mbps. The 5gz network wasn’t even getting there, I had to use a repeater. Now not only it does get there but also speed can go up to 30mbps. Close to the modem and both 2.4 and 5gz networks go easily to 50mbps. Amazing, I am super happy, no complaints. However if you have a huge house you may need to place it in a central location. It is a great product but doesn’t do miracles!

The Netgear Nighthawk D7000 at the price-point paid is excellent value for performance. With a 1GHz CPU the performance for gaming reduces latency by a good 10ms (in Aust). Wifi is also fast and efficient. Buy one, and like me flash it with Tomato, DD-WRT or better.

Really good product best thing is that it has app that sets up connection with your internet provider within a few minutes it has VDSl (NBN) and ADSL support being a modem/router means no other unit required what’s not to like!
