I used this tool to do the valve stem seals on my Toyota Aristo without having to take the head off. Putting an extension bar on the remover tool helps get to the valves at the back of the engine. The installation tool worked perfectly and could be easily held in your hand to get the valve locks back in once you have changed the seals. It is probably great for doing motorcyle heads on the bench ( there are plenty of conventional tools to do this), but my use was to do an alloytec Holden head on the vehicle and it was not suitable for this purpose.
