Reconnects fast with good range.
I used to have a DSL-2877AL router/modem. This was good, but the range was fairly low, and it took minutes to reconnect to flaky DSL. The D6300 will go into the back yard (previously I used a wifi repeater). The D6300 takes around 30 seconds to reconnect rather than a couple minutes. At one point, by DSL was dropping every 10 minutes, due to line issues. This was completely intolerable under the DSL-2877AL, but not too bad with the D6300. (The line issues have since been fixed.) One little weakness is the lights for DSL sync and internet are smaller and weaker. You have to get closer before you can see the DSL state.
