It's a functional well made case for the golf course. It's waterproof & has decent protection features I like the belt strap that allows me to carry it with me to my ball and be out of my way when I swing the club. I would put some softer material inside the case for more protection of the range finder. The attachment ring doesn't serve much purpose b/c I won't be attaching the case to my golf bag. I ride in a cart almost always & the rough bumps would eventually break the the ring strap, losing the case & rangefinder. Overall, I'm pleased with the case. It will serve the purpose/reasons why I bought it!

UPDATE: I pulled this out to use later in the year when temperatures started to drop. The unit would no longer show a reading, with the number barely flashing but never getting a lock no matter how carefully I aim. I thought perhaps this was due to the battery starting to fail due to the temperature, but a new battery didn't do anything to fix the issue. So I have a useless rangefinder less than a year into ownership, and the seller is ignoring my message regarding this. You can get a much better rangefinder for just a few dollars more than this and similar knockoff brands, I'd suggest you give them a look. INITIAL REVIEW: Used it for half a dozen rounds so far. Worked as expected every time, and the measurements were consistent (and accurate enough according to other rangefinders & course markers). There is no lock-on function that I can see (nor do I expect one at this price point), but the measurements "endure" long enough that passing the crosshair over the flag a few times gives me a reliable reading. Rain season is coming, and I am NOT expecting this one to survive a soaking based on its construction. That being said I'll attempt to update this review with reporting on how it makes it through the winter.Read full review

Great alternative to the $300 rangefinders. This has pinseeker which makes getting the yardage easier on windy days. It provided information relatively quickly from 230 yrds and closer. Haven't tried it from longer than 230 yrds but is no expecting any difference results.

The only down side is the instructions. Poorly written and vague. Very good value for the price. For about the same as some of the cheaper "watch" type, you can get the distance to a tree or something else. Handy for laying up.

In the description of the laser, I thought it said a shake sensor for ease of use. I read the instructions and did what it said to activate this feature. That doesn’t do anything. As for the accuracy feature, it’s great. It’s just not easy to hold and no shake. It’s worth the money.
