Radio has excellent features and is reasonable quality. Price is attractive. Only downside is that supplied Mic is poor quality (very low audio). I bought a replacement Mic which is much better. Also the FM button occasionally sticks. Manual progamming is fairly easy once you download the more detailed manual. The supplied manual is very light on detail.

A great emergency radio for my yacht, they are in my 2 ditch bags programmed to the marine channels the documentation is okay fairly easy to use. Have not tested their water resistance but the 12v charging is fine just make sure they are turned off prior to charging. Have not used to connect to the chirp program yet but like all USB to radio connections you will need to use the most updated Driver. Over all a great beginner radio with the FM radio capable.

The GT-3TP looks and feel great, But i can't get it to except my frequincy or channel i need to program to use, I have had the Beofang ur5 great radio no problems to setup, GT-3TP I'm sure would be a great unit if i can get it to use my Frequincy. Can you Help Please Channel. 33 - frequincy 477.2250. With a CTCSS Tone 5. Frequincy 79.7 I would appreciate any help you could give me .
