    Does the job, on the cheap

    I primarily bought this bolt knob because I kept dinging the cerakote on the bolt handle of my Howa 1500. It does a great job of protecting the bolt handle from losing more paint. On the plus side, it’s a fully functional oversized bolt knob as well. It’s not too big, it fits snugly, and doesn’t interfere with my scope. It does move around just a little and yes, if you pull on it hard enough, it will come off. It is just a friction fit, but with normal bolt use, I don’t get any movement out of it. My only regret is I wish I had it on my bolt before I chipped cerakote off! The people at Tourbon are very professional and a pleasure to purchase from.

    Smaller than expected

    Don't think this would work on every bolt knob very well. I put it on a Savage and it worked ok. The inside of the "ball" is only open as big as the hole on the outside. Others I have bought the inside was bigger to accommodate odd shaped and bigger factory knobs.

    Simple Fix - Rubber Bolt Knob

    This is a very comfortable addition (or fix)for the common small knobbed bolt action rifles. While you may prefer a custom bolt handle replacement, this will serve well enough for most of us...for a fraction of the cost. What's not to like? Now I have a minimum of $50 to spend on something else:-)

    Second One!!

    I bought one of these to try on a Savage 110. I liked it but there was a problem, so did my son!! He talked me out of mine so he could put it on his rifle so I had to get myself another one. These are a great way to increase the size of your bolt handle without having to modify the gun!!

    Terrible on any gun

    The bolt knob will not fit onto the bolt like it is expected to. I tried it on three different makes of rifles, it would not stay on any of them. Don’t wast your time or money on this product.
