I was using an app on my phone to tune my guitar, but they would require you to buy a subscription I order to get alternate tunings. I had enough so I bought this tuner. It is small, portable, and easy to use.

Looks very nice, and I love the tiny size, but it didn't work right out of the box. This was my second one to buy from the same company. The first one worked fine, so this is probably a good product overall. As inexpensive as it was, I didn't bother returning the one that didn't work. The working one was a little frustrating to use sometime as it would not recognize octaves. This prevents you from getting a totally precise tune since you cannot tune by the harmonic. But for a general beginner tuner, it is a pretty darned good deal for the money.

great tuner works on different instruments! do not pass it up, sure its a long shipping time, but you wont be disappointed. so small you can leave it attached. Works on Piezo sound, and goes all the way up to 440hz.
