I Have had the Galaxy S11 for some weeks now and have found the product to be very easy to use with many useful features and tons of free aps to download. The Galaxy is quite a bit lighter than the iPhone 4s with much the same features. The 8mp camera is excellant and the screen bright and easy to see making sending emails and messages a breeze. The touch screen is very positive. I rated this product 4/5 only because of its poor battery life and partically long time to recharge. I would buy this product again.
I've been looking at these smartphones for some time now and have been weighing up all the pro's and cons for them. It took a while to decide as I initially thought that all I needed a phone for was to make calls and receive calls as I don't use any social networking. I'm glad I decided to buy this phone because I can now do all my banking, shopping (on Ebay), check news reports, emails as well as listen to music. It's very versatile and easy to use although it is a little bit bigger than the old Nokia I still own, so I haven't worked out how to carry it yet. The battery life isn't too bad considering how much I have been using it, and you can also customise setting to prolong the life of the battery. I've been very happy with this purchase, and would recommend one to anyone who is yet to come across to the smartphone era. I now consider myself a reformed sceptic, and have to take back some of the things I've said about smartphones in the past. I have been proven wrong.Read full review
The phone is stylish and relatively easy to use. I did have to you how to use some features that should be standard such as reading internet text through double tap. The battery can last less than 24hrs if it is used a lot, but 24hr is about standard and it takes about 2hrs to charge. I activated voice command command once and it caused a lot of problems i.e. it wouldn't turn off and it was asking what I wanted to do in the middle of the night when I was sleeping. It became very annoying but appears to have corrected itself now, however I don't intend to play with voice command again. I would still recommend the phone but it is far from perfect.
Excellent phone despite the bloatware put on there by the network provider, gotten rid of with superuser and clean firmware install. Battery life could be improved, but for its slimness it is acceptable. I find myself having to recharge the phone once every day or every other day. Features are endless (apps via google play store) and camera and touch screen meets and surpasses my needs and expectations. Highy recommended to all. I found after much research this phone to be the most reasonably priced for its features compared to competitors. Buy only from users with good reviews.
Did not want to get a smart phone(of any type).Had to because I was doing a job that needed current crop bluetooth communications. I have had several suprises with the S2 since putting it on line - and they have all been GOOOOOOOOOD! Drag & drop files without any intermediate translation. Great definition screen(which is becoming more important as I age & my arms are getting shorter and my eyesight worse). Every time I get it to do something new it does it, and does it well; text -email-SMS-still camera-video. And I'm 1 of those oldies who just wants a phone to be a phone.I'm not a luddite when it comes to technology-I'm too involved in it with both computers & audio. The Samsung Galaxy S2 is an abolute pearler, and value for dollar it's streets ahead of it's opposition & competition. Not over the top when it comes to battery life- but if you turn off ALL non-essentials until you NEED them it becomes truckloads better. Using it can become a headache if only because there are so many apps already loaded on the ?@#$ thing you lose time making the all important decision about exactly what you are going to do with your new "phone".Highly recommended- enjoy it!Read full review
