Hoover no longer produces spares for these old 800/900 series washers. My old pump, like the rest of the old (40 years and going strong) washer, is still alive, however the rubber seal has been dripping on the spin/drain cycle and as they're no made any more, I was so pleased to find these OEM's on eBay. I have three Hoover washers, an 820 and 2 X 920 so I bought 2 of these so I'll have a spare. Two of my machines work every day doing animal blankets & towels used for wildlife care. They've been doing this for over 40 years with only one service each that I did myself. These washers are real work horses and the drain pumps work hard to. I don't know where they're made or who or produces them, but the quality is equal to Hoover. Unfortunately, the seller was unable to offer spare seals for this pump and they have been modified from original. I had bought 4 spare Hoover seals back in very early 1980 when I was given the first (820) machine but used the last one about 2 years ago. Anyway, if you own a Hoover of the above model, grab a couple of these pumps and save needing to purchase a new Chinese piece of junk.Read full review
